Audubon will offer a guided bird walk from 8 to 9 am. See which birds are active at the preserve and on the river as fall migration gets started. At 9 am volunteers will gather to harvest and plant willow and other trees, plant other native shrubs, and spread native seeds to bolster habitat for wildlife. Participants should dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a reusable water bottle. Bird walk participants should bring binoculars, if they have them. Some binoculars will be available.
