Sixth-graders get standing ovation from EPA for bird scare device

Four sixth-graders, two who attend Midvale Middle School, presented their bird scare device to 400 EPA scientists and staff and received a standing ovation for finding an innovative solution to birds striking airplanes, potentially saving lives as well as saving airlines millions of dollars.
