As the ball bounced around the rim and eventually fell into the hoop to send the game into overtime, Hillcrest High head coach Brandon Sluga remembered: “My thought was we’re going to win the game. I didn’t have any doubt we were going to go and finish the game off. And that’s what I just told them.”
