One summer tradition is taking the family to a car show. This year the car show came to families.

Dozens of local car enthusiasts drove their vehicles through Midvale and Cottonwood Heights on Aug. 22. The Cottonwood Heights Police Department, Unified Police Department Midvale Precinct and the Unified Fire Authority all provided support while Unity Car Show Productions organized the cars.

The cars began rolling at Butler Middle School in Cottonwood Heights and wound their way west, ending near Topgolf, 920 Jordan River Blvd. in Midvale. Spectators positioned themselves safely away from other groups along the route.

The show included vintage cars, hot rods and a number of unique vehicles.
