With unofficial election results posted by Salt Lake County Recorder's Office, it appears that two of the Midvale City Council seats up for re-election will be retained by their incumbents.

In District 1, incumbent Councilman Quinn Sperry leads Alan Anderson with 68% of the vote.

In District 2, incumbent Councilman Paul Glover leads Sophia Hawes-Tingey with 59% of the vote.

In District 3, the seat vacated by Paul Hunt looks to be filled by Heidi Robinson who currently has 54% of the vote in a race against Bart Benson. If results hold, Robinson would be the only elected female on the Midvale City Council.

These numbers were listed by the county on Nov 5. Winning candidates will not be officially announced until November 19 at the City Council meeting.  Final results may change.
