Wednesday, Dec. 14—Drop-in Preschool Story Time, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Join Daniel the librarian for a fun story time with stories, music, activities and crafts. For parents/caregivers and children ages 3-5.

Monday, Dec. 19—Polar Express Party, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Join Daniel the librarian for a festive Polar Express party. We will hear the book being read, make some crafts, enjoy some holiday goodies and enjoy a visit from a jolly special guest! This activity is for families.

Tuesday, Dec. 20—December Drop-in Craft—Candy Trains! 2 to 7 p.m. Come and make a fabulous candy train at the Tyler Library. Drop by anytime between 2 and 7 p.m. to make a candy train and celebrate the season! This activity is for kids and families.

Wednesday, Dec. 21—Family Movie Night, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Movie will be Disney’s “Prep and Landing.”

Saturday, Dec. 24library closed for Christmas Eve.

Monday, Dec. 26—library closed for Christmas holiday.

Monday, Jan. 2—library closed for New Year’s holiday.

Saturday, Jan. 7—READ Dogs at Tyler Library, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Reading with Tele, Elliot, Rusty and Gabby! These awesome “READ” dogs are specially trained to sit quietly while a child reads them a book. Come to the Information Desk to save a time slot for your child! Each reading time slot is 15 minutes long, and every child gets a pencil and a bookmark when they finish!

Thursday, Dec. 8—Find the Candy Cane, all day. Find the paper candy cane hidden in the library and bring it to the children's desk to trade it for a real one!

Dec. 8, 9, 12-16, 19-23—Send a Letter to Santa. Write a letter to Santa and leave it in our magic mailbox.

Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10—Holiday Craft, 3 to 5 p.m. Kids of all ages are invited to drop in between 3 and 5 p.m. to create their own holiday crafts.

Dec. 12-16, 19-23—Story Walk, all day. Come enjoy the story of “Mouse's First Christmas” by Lauren Thompson. Follow the arrows around the library to read the story and receive a small treat at the children's desk when you finish.

Wednesday, Dec. 14, 21 and 28—Gotta Move! 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Combining music, movement and stories, Gotta Move! will be an active program for young children featuring a story break. Come prepared to move and groove! All ages welcome. No registration required.

Saturday, Dec. 24—library closed for Christmas Eve.

Monday, Dec. 26—library closed for Christmas holiday.

Saturday, Dec. 31—last day to enter minutes for KUED Read-A-Thon. Today is the last day to enter the minutes you read during the KUED Read-A-Thon. Go to www.kued.org/read to enter your minutes. Finishers will receive an invitation to the Super Reader Party!

Monday, Jan. 2—library closed for New Year’s holiday.

Wednesday, Jan. 11—Teen Amine Club, 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. Preview anime episodes. Meet new friends. Feel free to dress in costume and bring your own sealed treats.
