Samuel R. Parkinson was an early 1860 pioneer settler of Franklin, Idaho, where his family - the children of Arabella Chandler, Charlotte and Maria Smart, were reared. Their descendant families moved north into Eastern Idaho and south from Logan to the Provo area. There are many within Cache Valley.
The Parkinson Family is now into its eighth generation, where there are literally thousands of cousins that are unaware of their relationship as they walk past each other every day!
T.C. Christensen, the producer and director of “Seventeen Miracles” (a movie currently playing in theaters throughout Utah and Idaho), is the special guest speaker.
