Intermountain Christian School is launching a new spring fundraiser called Serve-A-Thon. As the name suggests, a focus on service opportunities throughout the Salt Lake Valley will catalyze the event supporting the school’s mission statement. The entire school including students, faculty, staff and parents will work in partnership with local agencies such as Holding Out Help, Utah Food Bank and the Dream Center, but also will work with several area churches. According to ICS’s Communications and Marketing Manager, Leslie Clement, “[Serve-A-Thon] has great potential to cast a broad net of service outside of the Christian community. We want to inspire our students to see beyond themselves and serve.” Serve-A-Thon is Wednesday, April 27 and starts with a school-wide assembly at 9:15 a.m. More information can be found at intermountainchristian.org.
